I am so excited to be running as your Greens candidate for Geelong
I’m a climate advocate, former teacher and proud Geelong West local. I’ve spent my career working on community-led climate action and I know how much change is possible when leadership listens.
Geelong is ready for that change. Across the district, people are struggling with the rising cost of living and housing pressures, while the government keeps backing projects like the Viva Gas Terminal. Climate justice and social justice must go hand in hand because everyone deserves a safe home, fair wages and a healthy planet.
The Greens track record
In the balance of power in parliament the Greens have secured:
$60 million to protect nature and get homes and businesses off gas
Renting reforms including banning no grounds evictions and rental bidding
5000 more empty homes available by making the tax on empty homes stronger
$150 million for bike lanes and pedestrian safety
Proudly supported the first Treaty in Australia
Stopped the renewal of the MoU with Israeli Ministry of Defence
